NEW INSIGHTS INTO COMMON DISEASES

Most of us sometimes suffer from one or more afflictions such as pain, allergic reactions, or cold. The treatment of diseases is subject to continuous changes and improvements. Although sharp tongues say science is really “mistakes brought up-to-date”, those “mistakes” are generally the best we have. [1]

The following sections are current knowledge and describe enhancements of the treatment and medication of common diseases, with references to the corresponding literature. They do not lay claim to completeness, but introduce chances for possible treatments to you. In any case of a disease, a doctor should give you additional advice. Of course, a good medical consultant should also be informed about the up-to-date standard of medical knowledge.

Even in Nature and BMJ, the occurrence of statistical errors is high, which is indicative of poor practice:

Nature Medicine has recognized and investigated this problem. As a result, a guideline has been announced to improve the quality of the statistical reporting in Nature journals.
