Treatment of dry nasal mucosa with sesame oil

Nasal mucosa dryness may be a problem in a dry winter. 79 persons were treated for 14 days with either an isotonic salt solution or pure sesame oil. The improvement in nasal mucosa dryness and also in nasal stuffiness was more effective with sesame oil than with the salt solution.
