IQ solution to: Hotel ∞ (infinity)

The guest from room 1 moves into room 2, the guest from room 2 to room 4, the guest from room 3 to room 6, and so on ad infinitum.

This way, the infinite number of old guests will be moving into rooms with even room numbers. Afterwards, the rooms with odd numbers are available for the infinite number of new guests.

It’s amazing because we think the set of even positive integers is just a part of the set of all positive integers; same for the odd integers. But calculations with infinite sets may lead to paradoxical results. Georg Cantor developed the Transfinite Numbers to do these calculations.
